[TED 강연] 어느 성공회 사제 (Tom Honey)의 고백
강연 내용에는
공감이 가지 않는 부분(인격신이 있을지도 모른다는 생각에)도 있긴 하지만
그래도, 쓰나미 참사 직후, 자신의 솔직한 심정, 생각들을 이야기하는 모습에 공감이 가서
올리게 되었네요...

하나하나 공감가는 강연들을 올려주신 데 감사드립니다.
항상 머릿속에 가지고 있던 의문점들이었는데...
눈에 보이는 기독교 신자들은 어떻게 저렇게 하나 의심없이 신실하게 믿을까 하는 어찌보면 경이로운 마음까지 있었거든요.. 그들이 말하는 신이라면 믿으면 보듬어주고 안믿으면 내치는... 무섭거나 차가운.. 불합리하기까지한 신이 분명한데.
이 분 강론은 그런 부분에 대한 회의가 제대로 녹아들어 있어서 참 좋네요.

저 사제도 참 무섭네요... 왜 저 생각을 이제와서 할까요...? 항상 당연하다고 생각하고 있는 것들인데 말이죠...
기독교 신자들은 신이 있다고 주장하면서도 강의에서 계속 말하듯이 신을 상상하는 데로 정의하는데, 정말로 신이 있다면 자신들이 상상하는 것이 신일 수는 없잖아요?
여하튼, 종교를 전혀 믿지 않는 저로써는 저 고뇌에 빠진 저 사제조차 신기해보입니다.ㅎㄷㄷ
